Books For Ages started with a childhood memory and a community calling. After years of shipping books around the world, we realized what mattered most was right here at home — in San Diego. So we bought a bus, filled it floor-to-ceiling with pre-loved treasures, and took it to the streets.

No fixed address — just a beautiful bus rolling across San Diego County. From South Bay to North County, we show up at farmers markets, book fairs, schools, and community events. Want to book the bookmobile for your school, party, or event? We'd love to come to you.
Give Your Books a New Chapter
Got books collecting dust? We'll give them a second life. Drop off at our SDSU donation bins anytime, bring them to any bookmobile event, or schedule a pickup for large collections. We have a box truck — no quantity is too big!
