These terms apply to your use of booksforages.com and the services of Books for Ages, a program of Codex Brothers L.L.C. ("we," "us," or "our"), based in San Diego, California. By scheduling a pickup, requesting the bookmobile, shopping with us, or using this site, you agree to them.

Donation pickups & bookmobile events

Pickup dates and time windows are estimates; we will keep you informed of changes.
Donated books become the property of Books for Ages upon collection. We may sell, donate, or recycle donated items to support the program.
We may decline items we cannot accept (for example, damaged or moldy books).

Text message (SMS) program

Program description: Books for Ages sends pickup status updates by text — such as on-the-way notices, arrival confirmations, and thank-you messages — to donors who provide a phone number when scheduling a pickup through our website form or verbally by phone.

Message frequency: typically 2–4 messages per scheduled pickup. This is not a recurring subscription.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier.
Opt out: reply STOP at any time to cancel further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of donating or of any purchase.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Online shop

Prices and availability of shop items may change without notice. If an item is unavailable after you order, we will refund you in full.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, submit false booking information, or interfere with its operation.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The site and services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Books for Ages and Codex Brothers L.L.C. are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or services.

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
